2020 Eewansaapita at Home

Sunrise with Sandhill Crane taking off and Eewansaapita title

Eewansaapita means “sunrise” and is used here as a metaphoric expression for community rebirth, renewal, and empowerment. Eewansaapita began in 2005 as part of Myaamia Eemamwiciki ‘Miami awakening.’

If you have any questions, please contact the Eewansaapita Program Director, George Ironstrack, at ironstgm@miamioh.edu.
