2nd Day of Young Black Bear Moon (2018)
(2 mahkoonsa kiilhswa (2018))

Young Black Bear Moon has sprouted – it’s the Myaamia New Year!  Today it’s a little warm (69) and rainy (in the Great Miami River Valley). Now the trees are really full of sap. We’re collecting maple sap.
‘saakiwa mahkoonsa kiilhswa – weehki kihkatwi! noonki kaahkiihkwe tikawi ceeliteeki (69) peetilaanki (ahsenisiipionki). noonki peehki neepikwiki ahsenaamiša. eehsenaamišipoohkiaanki.’

Tonight, Young Black Bear Moon just sprouted (waxing).
‘noonki peehkonteeki kiinte saakiwa mahkoonsa kiilhswa (keešaakosita).’
