Before, during, and after Removal, United States agents made lists of Myaamiaki on Removal. The lists do not provide all individual names, but only the names of heads of families and the number of adults and children in each family. Unfortunately, the different lists divide Myaamiaki into different family groupings, so the number of families and the number of members of each family vary. Myaamia citizen John Bickers, compiled the following list of Myaamiaki on Removal, using the available lists and other available genealogical information. I am the great-great-granddaughter of Christmas Dagenet. In this blog, his name is spelled incorrectly. While my name happens to be spelled as you have spelled his (Dagenette), it is a spelling variation that evolved post Christmas’ death.
